The beach

Cala Portinatx is also the name of the urbanization. It is called Platja de Portinatx or Es Portitxol. Family tourism area, quiet with all kinds of services where we can find many hiking routes. At one end of the beach we can see a fishing area still in use delimiting the access of boats with buoys.

Notes

Portinatx Cove is in the urbanization wiht the same name: Cala Portinatx. There are another near coves, but in this place is ubicated the biggest fishermens place of Cala Portinatx. The swimming area is well protected, and in the right zone we can find another nice places to take a bath.

How to get there

    Road C-733 towards Cala Portinatx

    Head towards Cala Portinatx. Once in the urbanization the road winds but we continued without deviating.

    Arrive at Cala Portinatx beach

    The road to the urbanization becomes just another street. At the end of it we will find that there is no exit, but we will see to our right a plot of land with shade of trees where we can park.

About Sant Joan de Labritja

Sant Joan de Labritja is a municipality located in the northern Ibiza. It has an extension of 121 km and a population of 5,500 inhabitants distributed in four parrishes: Sant Joan, Sant Miquel, Sant Vicent and Sant Llorenç. Each parrish is divided in turn in 'vendes', neighbourhood associations. The inhabitants in Sant Joan do not tend to cluster in urban nuclei, they own single family dwellings, that is why the nuclei are so small.
