The beach
Es Pas de s Illa d'es Bosc is a beach that has sea on both sides: In the area facing the open sea it is the most rocky place; The opposite side faces the Port of Sant Miquel, a large, more sheltered bay and we will find sand on this side.
Notes
Curious swimming area that is just the way to a land that looks like an island. Access by car is dangerous because it is a very narrow road with steep gravel. We recommend leaving the car in the driveway and follow the 2 km walking. No loss.

How to get there
- 1Go to the Port of Sant Miquel
Follow the signs to Port de Sant Miquel and after a few kilometers turn left, follow the signs to Na Xamena.
- 2Na Xamena
Continue on this road that goes up a mountain for approximately one kilometer.
- 3to park
Right where we see on our right a small sign indicating "xiringuito Pas de s'Illa" and a dirt path that goes down a slope, we parked. There is room for only 3 vehicles, but continuing on the road by car is dangerous because it is gravel and steep.
- 4path
The trail that starts here is not a problem for both hikers and cyclists. We will continue without deviating until we reach the small beach. There is a route with directions to a very nearby defense tower, and another route that comes from the Port through the forest.
- 5Another possible access
There is another path that starts at Port de Sant Miquel and goes towards Cala Moltons, but we have not traveled it and we do not know its difficulty or whether it is private: It is a question of following from Cala Moltons along some paths that do not go along the coast, but through the forest and join the path very close to the detour to the Tower of Defense.
