The beach
S'Aigua Dolça or El Caló is a beautiful cove in the northern area of Artà. There is a nice walk near the cliffs and it is full of small swimming areas. It is an ideal place for an excursion. The name s'Aigua Dolça is really how many people know it. The city council has named it as El Caló.
Notes
Official name "El Caló de Betlem". It is reached after 60 minutes on foot. There are usually numerous boats. Little area of sand, mostly there are mountains of seaweed to protect the little sand it has.

How to get there
- 1Ma-12
From the Ma-12 take the turnoff towards Colonia de Sant Pere.
- 2Continue straight until the end of the road
After approximately 7.5 km we will reach the Betlem urbanization.
- 3Bethlehem
Continue straight along the main street without taking detours until the last house. Here the road begins to be in bad shape. You can park and continue on foot.
- 4path
We will continue straight along the paved street that soon turns into a dirt road. We will immediately see a fork and continue to the right. The path has no loss, we will follow it for 60 minutes.
- 5Reach the last end of the cove
When you finish the path we can see the coast of Artà towards Alcúdia on our left. Access to the cove is via a ladder located behind a demolished house.

About Artà
Artà is a Majorcan municipality located among Santa Margarita, Capdepera, Sant Llorenç and Son Servera, it is located in the northwest of the island about 30 km far from Palma, its beaches are with no doubt some of the best in Majorca, not very frequented by tourists as in some cases there is a long walk to reach them, endowing it with an amazing naturalness which make them natural and special beaches.
