The beach

Ses Penyes Rotges is a cove of stones and rocks located in El Toro development, Calvià. It is a nice place with crystal clear waters which is accessed through el Toro beach.

Notes

You have to cross El Toro beach and continue along the sea through a walk of huge stones.

How to get there

    Palma-Andratx motorway

    From the Palma-Andratx motorway take exit number 17 towards Santa Ponça.

    Continue along Nueva Santa Ponça Avenue

    Reach the first roundabout and take the third exit towards Nueva Santa Ponça Avenue.

    Reach the coast

    We will continue along this avenue and we will pass 6 roundabouts up to the seventh one, where we will continue by the third exit, along Les Penyes Rotges Avenue.

    La Gran Via street

    Continue up to Gran Vía street to the right where we will be able to park. Continue along the beach street which is on our right.

    Walk

    The only access we have is through El Toro beach. We must head for the restaurant with the same name, surround it and follow a complicated way with huge stones used as reef.

About Calvià

Calvià is a Majorcan municipality bordered by Puigpunyent, Estellencs and Palma. At present it is the second most populated area of the entire Balearic archipelago after Palma, and also one of the areas with a large tourist influx. There are approximately 300 days of sunshine and its average temperature is of 27 degrees Celsius in summer and 14 in winter.
