The beach

Sa Calobra is the small bay that encompasses two bathing areas: Port of Sa Calobra (the one shown in these pictures) and the mouth of the Torrent de Pareis. There is a stones seabed and clear waters. It has a small pier where seagull boats tie up every day travelling from the Port of Sóller to Sa Calobra.

Notes

Dangerous road, we recommend going preferably by boat (there are excursions from the port of Sóller). Very touristy place and a mandatory route for tourists.

About Escorca

Escorca is a municipality of Majorca of the region of the mountain range of Tramuntana that borders on Fornalutx, Sóller, Bunyola, Alaró, Selva, Campanet and Pollença. In the north we find the sea and a wharf between the Torrent of Pareis and Sa Calobra. This municipality has extraordinary beauties, standing out the Monastery of Lluc, considered the sacred place par excellence of the island as the virgin of Lluc resides in it; Cala Tuent, an unspoilt cove of 180 square metres; the Gorg Blau reservoir, that supplies great part of Majorca; La Calobra and Torrent de Pareis. It is also important to know that this municipality has the four highest peaks in Majorca, where the Puig Major with 1445 stands out.
