The beach

Son Bauló is a sandy and touristy beach located in C'an Picafort. It is going past C'an Picafort yacht club, at one end of the village.

    Palma-Alcúdia highway

    Palma-Alcúdia highway, Ma 13. It comes a point where the higway becomes a two-way road. From the roundabout head for Port d'Alcúdia, ma 3460 road.

    C'an Picafort

    Detour towards C'an Picafort or Artà, Ma 3470 road.

    Go past 'playas de Muro'

    Continue along the sea towards C'an Picafort via the Ma 12 road. Enter the village following the signs to C'an Picafort Playa. Go past the first roundabout and continue straight on.

    Second roundabout

    At the second roundabout in C'an Picafort take the third exit, 'Santa Margalida road'. Turn right onto Diagonal Avenue. Son Bauló is at the end of the street.

About Santa Margalida

Santa Margalida is a Majorcan municipality that belongs to the Pla deMallorca region bordering on the municipalities of María de la Salut, Petra, Muro, Ariany and Artà. We find two main population centres: Son Serra de Marina and Ca'n Picafort. One of the major attractions of this municipality is the estae of Son Real, a natural and historic treasure where we find a necropolis of the Iron Age that overlooks the sea.
