The beach

Cala Nau is a cove of stone and rocks located in Costa de Canyamel housing esate, in Capdepera. It is a very quiet place near the housing estate as well as arid.

Notes

Footwear is advisable. Very close to the houses.

How to get there

    From Capdepera

    From Capdepera we have to take Dr Gomez Ulloa street to leave Capdepera. From the first roundabout, we have to take the third exit, which is now called ma 4040 road.

    Ma 4042 road

    At he next roundabout we have to take again the third exit, onto the ma 4042 road (only a first stretch).

    Costa de Canyamel development

    We will continue along this road until the roundabout to access the development. At this new roundabout we will take first exit towards Costa de Canyamel housing estate.

    Cales Street

    At the same entrance we will turn left (Calés street)and we will follow it, taking a restaurant (Restaurante Cala Rotja) as a point of reference.

    Park near the restaurant

    Whenever we see the restaurant, we will park the vehicle on both verges of the road (there's plenty of space) and access the cove through a side entrance of the same restaurant. CalaSa Nau is on the left of Cala Rotja, about 150 metres away.

About Capdepera

Capdepera is a municipality located at the eastern end of the island of Mallorca, in the Levante region, bordered by Artà and Son Servera. It has a very cut away relief with numerous coves that are home for touristic centres such as Cala Ratjada, Canyamel, Cala Mesquida and Font de sa Cala. Capdepera has endless possibilities concerning excursions, recommending the visit to its castle, built in the 14th century and which can be visited during the summer months from 10:00 to 20:00 and the rest of the months from 10:00 to 17:00.
