The beach
Cala Rotja is a cove of sand, stone and rocks located in Costa de Canyamel housing estate, Capdepera. It is cove with two swimming areas, it has a place of sand or gravel and another one provided with a ladder to get out of the sea. To access the cove there are some enabled wooden stairs.

At the same cove there are two swimming areas There is a very nice walk along the cove.

How to get there
- 1From Capdepera
Leave Capdepera along Dr Gómez Ulloa street. From this frist roundabout, we have to take the third exit, now called ma 4040 road.
- 2Ma 4042 road
At the next roundabout we must take again the third exit, towards the ma 4042 road (only a first stretch).
- 3Costa de Canyamel development
We will follow along this road up to the roundabout giving access to the development. At this new roundabout we will take the first exit towards Costa de Canyamel housing development.
- 4Cales Street
At the same entrance we will turn left (Cales street) and we will follow it without going off course, taking a restaurant (Restaurante Cala Rotja) as a point of reference. Park.
- 5Park
We will park the car on both verges of the road (there's plenty of space) and we will access the cove through the side entrance of the same restaurant.

About Capdepera
Capdepera is a municipality located at the eastern end of the island of Mallorca, in the Levante region, bordered by Artà and Son Servera. It has a very cut away relief with numerous coves that are home for touristic centres such as Cala Ratjada, Canyamel, Cala Mesquida and Font de sa Cala. Capdepera has endless possibilities concerning excursions, recommending the visit to its castle, built in the 14th century and which can be visited during the summer months from 10:00 to 20:00 and the rest of the months from 10:00 to 17:00.
