The beach
Cala Mitjana is a lovely cove of sand, stone and rocks located near Cala d'Or development, Felanitx.It is a small cove with beautiful views. Not many people visit it as the walk to reach it is several km. Long.
Notes
There is no nearby place to leave the car, so we have to park 3 km away on the verge and walk.

How to get there
- 1From Felanitx
Leave Felanitx driving along Rei Jaume I (Ma 14 road) towards C'as Concos.
- 2Diversion to Es Carritxó
On Ma 14 road take a left diversion towards El Carritxó (Ma 4016)
- 3Diversion to s'Horta
On Ma 4016 take the detour to s'Horta.
- 4S'Horta
Leave the village along Marçal street. We'll leave s'Horta and several km forward we'll see a left diversion indicated as 'cala sa nau'. We'll take it.
- 5Narow road
We will follow this way several km and we'll see the second left diversion to 'cala sa nau'. In this intersection we'll park the car on the very verge.
- 6Walking
In this intersection we leave the car but we won't take it on foot, just follow the road and leave it 100 metres forward, take the next intersection to the left. 'No trespassing except for residents' is indicated.
- 7Go past the rural hotel
On this way we'll go past a rural hotel.We'll get to another inersection and we will take it to the left. Now we just have to follow the path enabled for tourists. It comes a point where there are some strings to follow, to reach the cove.

About Felanitx
Felanitx is a Majorcan municipality bordering on the coast with Santanyí and Manacor. Felanitx has got little coastline and its coves never cease to impress its visitors. Some of them are in urban areas and to reach them we must go through enabled pedestrian paths in private lands. Felanitx stands out for its wine and 'els cavallets' which is a popular dance since the beginning of the 17th century. It's composed by a group of children aged between 10 and 13. This dance is usually performed in the parish church or convent in the days of the patron Saint Margalida and in the feast of San Agustí.
