The beach
Punta Negra is a small area of rocks located in Calvià, between Palmanova and Portals Nous. There is a hotel in this place, so we must arrive to the cove along the coast from the west side. The access is a bit complicated. The two bays are rarely visited.

How to get there
- 1Poniente highway exit 13
Exit the highway Palma - Andratx by the exit number 13 toward Palmanova.
- 2Roundabouts and Ma-1C
We will find several roundabouts and we must continue to Portals Nous and Son Caliu (the Ma-1C road). We must deviate up to a roundabout where we can see the sign "Punta Negra"; From the exit number 13 of the hihgway until this deviation, there is about 1.5 km.
- 3Punta Negra
Right on the roundabout begins a footpath, is that we must take, it is between two hotels. The parking lot we can do in the street of Punta Negra.
- 4Path
Before coming to this beach you have to take a path that we will see to our left. This road will take us around the hotel Punta Negra to a sandy cove, is a passage between rocks. This is one of the two bathing areas of Punta Negra. There is a ladder to access the creek on the opposite side.

About Calvià
Calvià is a Majorcan municipality bordered by Puigpunyent, Estellencs and Palma. At present it is the second most populated area of the entire Balearic archipelago after Palma, and also one of the areas with a large tourist influx. There are approximately 300 days of sunshine and its average temperature is of 27 degrees Celsius in summer and 14 in winter. Its coastline extends from Cabo Andritxol to the area of Ca's Català, Ses Illetes. It is 54 km long with numerous beaches and coves apart from 10 islets. It is provided with a hotel option of more than 230 establishments including luxury hotels, rural houses, marinas, golf courses, athletics tracks, a water park, areas to practise hiking and tennis academies.
