The beach
Punta d'es Carregador is one of the ends of this beach; its official name lends itself to confusion since there is a well-known beach in the same municipality called the same, Platja d'es Carregador. This is a very quiet beach, few people in high season and with a not very easy access: you have to descend half a meter with the help of two ropes as there are no steps leading down to the beach.
Notes
Beach with hidden access frequented by people who know the area. Good place for snorkeling as there are many rock areas where there is a lot of marine life. This beach is a passage area to access the neighboring Platja de s Hostalet, which is smaller and rocky.

How to get there
- 1Autovia de Ponent exit no. 13
Leave the Palma - Andratx motorway at exit 13, towards Palmanova.
- 2Roundabouts and Ma-1C
We will find several roundabouts and we must continue towards Son Caliu and Portals Nous on the Ma-1C road. Don't deviate until you reach a roundabout and see the sign for "Punta Negra". From exit 13 to this turnoff is approximately 1.5 km.
- 3Carrer Punta Negra
We enter Calle Punta Negra. Once there, we must take the first street on our left. It's a dead end. We can park on this street and look for the path at the end of the street that continues towards the sea. Don't confuse the path, there is another halfway down the street that will take us to another very different cove that is not connected.
- 4path
The path makes a bend, then it seems to go down a slope but it cuts off right at the end of the houses. There is a tree at the end of our path, it can be climbed down by several jumps, there are two ropes that will help us climb later. You can go with small children as long as we help them.
